Implantology / Surgery Services by Referral
Dr Misagh Habibi accepts referrals for dental implant and oral surgery (perio-plastic / dento-alveolar) treatment. His practice is limited to these procedures and IV sedation dentistry. He has a down-to-earth, practically helpful and collaborative manner with referring colleagues, and brings a wealth of experience as an implantology educator. See below for full range of procedures.
- Dental implant surgery (Multiple systems: Straumann, Neodent, BioHorizons, Nobel Biocare, Astra Tech (EV), Ankylos, Bicon, MIS. Patients are returned to the referring dentist for restoration unless restoration is requested.
- A focus on aesthetic immediate implantology supplemented by partial extraction therapy or soft tissue procedure.
- Hard tissue grafting (Bone block augmentation, Khoury bone shield augmentation, guided bone regeneration, maxillary sinus elevation (sinus lift).
- Soft tissue grafting (Free gingival graft, connective tissue graft, peri-implant surgeries, management of peri-implantitis, correction of gingival recession).
- Immediate full arch implant solutions (tissue preservation conventional restorations, All-on-4 / All-on-4 Plus restorations, Zygoma, pterygoid, trans-sinus solutions).
- Wisdom teeth management
- Atraumatic tooth removal and ridge preservation
- Apicectomy/apical surgery and bone regeneration
- Dental implant and multi-faceted treatment for cosmetic and reconstructive cases
- Digital and 3-D facial smile design, 3-D implant planning, digital solutions.
- Sedation (intravenous sedation) dentistry for phobic or complex needs patients.

Dr Misagh Habibi is Director of The Implant Institute, where multiple training programs in beginner, intermediate and advanced implantology are available to dentists in the Australasia region. Dr Habibi is a Clinical Tutor and Supervisor for Australian MSc (Oral Implantology) students (Master of Oral Implantology) at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He is also Australia Program Director and Deputy Chief Examiner of CADI.
Dr Misagh Habibi mentors several dentists a year in dental implantology, and is regularly lecturing internationally.
