Dental implants are artificial teeth secured in the jaw that look, function and feel like natural teeth. They are a strong, lasting, comfortable, natural and attractive tooth replacement option. They can be used to replace badly damaged teeth, a single missing tooth, partial dentures/bridgework, or to create a full mouth reconstruction. Our All-on-4 Plus technique can restore an entire dentition in just one surgery with immediate, functional and aesthetic results. Dental implants can also be used to stabilise loose dentures and make them functional and retentive.
Perth Implant Surgical and Sedation Dentistry offers modern therapies that can give you back something to eat with and smile about. Restorations when carried out with certain protocol and conditions have success rates of above 95 per cent - the highest for any form of restoration. In our centre, the success rate stands even higher than this (98%).
Dental implants are suitable for adults of all ages, providing the growth of their jaw is complete. Careful and detailed planning is required prior to surgery to identify vital structures such as the maxillary sinus and nerves, as well as the shape and dimensions of the jaw bone for appropriate insertion. For some patients with advanced gum disease, removal of teeth followed by replacement with dental implants can be the only sure way to rid the mouth of unhealthy disease while restoring full function. If adequate jaw bone is not present, it can often be created, using bone grafting or augmentation procedures.
The procedure consists of planning, surgical and restorative phases. Only during the surgical phase, where dental implants are inserted into the jaw, is some form of anaesthetic required to keep you comfortable and reduce any pain. In simple tooth replacement cases, minimal pain management is required post-operatively, while for more complex full mouth reconstructions or bone graft cases, a couple of days off work, post operatively, may be advised.
We offer advanced techniques and the latest technology and equipment to successfully provide treatments. Our professional team is experienced in areas including oral (dento alveolar) surgery and bone grafting, gum/soft tissue procedures, cosmetic dentistry and IV sedation techniques. This has led to us being recognised as a global leading implant centre and as the only official All On 4 Clinic in Western Australia.

Perth Implant Surgical and Sedation Dentistry can also advise on your suitability for dental implants as a method for replacing and securing teeth, and as an alternative to dentures. Unlike dentures, dental implants can prevent shrinkage of the jaw bone and face, while restoring full chewing ability.
Dental implants can be used to stabilise loose dentures or to replace teeth and remove the need for dentures altogether.
